About Us
MFACDF had our first club meeting November 14, 1998 and became incorporated in the State of Florida on August 30, 2000.
We are a regional Australian Cattle Dog (aka Blue Heeler) club with members located as far north as Georgia and as far south as the Florida Keys. No matter where you live, all are welcome. We average over 70 members a year.

Our club mails an informative newsletter, has a network of ACD owners, and a mentor-ship program. We offer health, education and rescue services.

You do not need a Cattle Dog to join. Your dog does not need to be registered or even purebred. It can be a cattle dog, heeler or stock dog mix, it makes no difference. Most of us learned to love the breed from a non-AKC registered dog.

Our club members participate in Conformation, Agility, Herding, Obedience, Rally, and more, but first and foremost we are all lovers of the Australian Cattle Dog. For more information on joining, go to the membership page and fill out the brief questionnaire and we will send you more information.
