MFACDF had our first club meeting November 14, 1998 and became
incorporated in the State of Florida on August 30, 2000. We were
licensed by the AKC in November of 2007 to hold Conformation, Obedience,
Rally, Herding and Agility competition. We are a regional Australian Cattle Dog
club located in central Florida. We are very active, holding several AKC events
each year. Our club mails out an informative newsletter, has a network of ACD
owners, and a mentor-ship program. We offer health, education and rescue services.
You do not need a Cattle Dog to join. Your dog does not need to be registered
or even purebred. It can be a cattle dog, heeler or stock dog mix, it makes no
difference. Most of us learned to love the breed from a non-AKC registered dog.
Our club members participate in Conformation, Agility, Herding, Obedience, Rally
and more, but first and foremost we are all lovers of the Australian Cattle Dog. For
