Mid-Florida ACD Fanciers is excited to be holding our first Regional Specialty since receiving our accreditation this year. We will be holding it on Sunday, January 18th in Brooksville, FL during the wonderful Florida Winter Circuit. We will be holding Puppy andVeteran Sweeps, Regular classes with veterans, and an ACD only Obedience and Rally Trial. Our esteemed judges will be

Club Meeting, Picnic and Herding Instinct Testing

The next club meeting is at Pat and
Jerry's on May 31st. We're having a pot luck, the club will supply hot dogs and hamburgers. We'll also do HIC testing, $10 for club members, $15 for non-members. All non-members must be the guest of a club member. HIC testing will start at 10:00 am. Lunch will be at noon and the meeting will start after lunch. Directions From I-75--take Exit 341 for Bushnell/Floral City Head west towards Floral City .8 tens of a mile--left at SW 28th St/ (Bennett Rd/Hayes Road) Take road until it dead ends into CR 476--go right (west) Take right on CR 575 (in approximately 5 miles) Take right on SW 60th Ave (in approximately 3 miles) Follow SW 60th Ave. (unpaved road) go approximately 1 mile and stay left at the "Y", go over cattle guard and continue approximately 1/2 mile to the end of the road. The house is the last house on the road. It is a yellow house sitting in the middle of the field. You will pass one other house on your left, just before you get to the Leach's gate. Our next meeting will be one hour after Cattle Dogs show. Cattledogs show at 8:30 am in Ring 2 with 4 dogs before them. The meeting will be in the building.
Driving Directions: From I-75: Exit 358 State Rd. 326, go East approximately 1 mile to traffic light, turn left onto 25A, go North approximately 2.3 miles. Show Grounds on right with Greater Ocala Dog Club sign. From the East: Hwy. 40 (Silver Springs Blvd.) through Ocala to I-75, go North on I-75 to Exit 358 SR 326, go East on 326 approximately 1 mile to traffic light, turn left onto 25A, go North approximately 2.3 miles. Our next meeting will be on Saturday January 19, 2008 at the Clearwater Kennel Club Dog Show located at Florida Classic Park, 5360 Lockhart Road, Brooksville, FL 34602. This meeting will be at 11:30 in the food court area. Cattledogs show at 9:15 in Ring 1 with 11 dogs showing in front of them. Come early and watch 'em show. See you there.
